for the past 6 months i have had an amazing opportunity to volunteer at the santa monica pier aquarium which is run by heal the bay. i have learned so much here in these past months and i get the chance to educate our youth about pollution prevention and the importance of respecting our oceans. being a part of this has been such a bright and meaningful experience for me. the people i work with are inspiring and passionate souls and watching and learning from them has proved to be very educational for me. if you have a chance and your down in santa monica on one of these warm spring days, come pop in and check out our beautiful sea creatures and learn what you can do to help keep our oceans and the life they support clean and safe.
